As I want more and more friends,true and honest,I send some friend requests daily.Mostly these are ignored or rejected unceremoniously.I myself get seldom nearly none friend request. Males are too busy in accepting females` request and females have such a long list of requests that mine lying somewhere in the crowd !

Dipika gets dozens of requests daily ! And never ever ignored !

It is just like a boy falling on the road crying in agony,nobody but sky listens.A girl falling on the road ,a whole lot of me-too-helpful people gather around her in such a huge quantity that it becomes difficult to know who actually has fallen !

Blood Pressure was fast dipping down as shown on the monitor.She was bleeding profusely.No matter what we did, there was no sign of bleeding relenting.I and Dipika were on the operating table.The newly arrived baby was crying oblivious of the fact that mother was sinking.We could not able to see any bleeding vessel as the blood was flowing profusely.Emergency arrangement for rapid blood transfusion was made.Meanwhile volume expanders were administered.' We are losing her' something like that said the anaesthetist.Gathering all experience,knowledge and technique, we tried everything but it seemed that we were fighting a tough battle.

Oh Almighty,save the mother today ! Save the faith of relatives standing outside listening to the cry of the baby, celebrating making frantic calls to their relatives, not even sensing the fragile threat by which mother`s life was hanging.Save our reputation today.

Prayer by heart always listened.

After multiple sponge drying we could see a faint ray of hope.We could find a vast area of profuse bleeding on the posterior wall of the uterus.Bleeding of such quantity from the posterior wall is not so common.But it was the cause here.Detecting the cause , it was easier now to control it.

Bleeding was subsided .Blood Pressure on the monitor was showing elating sign.

Thank Almighty.You are the one who do it.We are your hands !

Mother was being wheeled out of operation theater.Relatives were running here and there happily.

Baby was now crying more loudly .Obviously seeking for mother`s milk !

Reality is to be seen by digging deep into the subject.I along with my wife Dr.Dipika have operated for some breast tumours.As international data say,only 50-80% of females harbouring these gene mutations of BRCA1 and BRCA2 are likely to be hit by cancer.Rest will remain safe.So why are all of them to be in line behind Angelina for double mastectomy.There are other preventive measures like regular screening, use of drugs like Tamoxifen and self examination for detection of any lump in the breasts . Even after double mastectomy as for as risk is concerned it remains their in the remaining tissues.
To conclude it simply, if breast cancer runs in your family, you should not go for prophylactic mastectomy but opt for regular breasts screening.
